Abstract:
This research the significance of biosystem mechanical engineering and its statuse in Iran and other countries. It emphasizes the role of knowledge and technology in development and explores the interdisciplinary nature of biosystems engineering, incorporating mechanical engineering, agricultural sciences, and food supply chain mechanization. The text discusses the different forms of knowledge and technology and their importance in agriculture and natural resources.
Additionally, it explains the concept of biosystem mechanical engineering, its focus on non-medical biology, and the integration of engineering fields with non-engineering disciplines. The text also touches upon the challenges and issues faced by biosystem mechanical engineering in Iran, including inconsistencies in course offerings and the need for interdisciplinary engineering programs.
Furthermore, the article highlights the state of biosystem engineering in other countries, such as Europe and the United States, where it operates under different names but shares a focus on sustainable development, biofuels, precision agriculture, and other related areas. The text concludes by presenting quotes from various universities, describing the essence of biosystems engineering and its contribution to solving problems in biological systems, agriculture, natural resources, and the environment.
