Abstract:
The production of Oriented Strand Board among other wood industries is one of the new industries, and it can be considered in 1963. This product has increased day by day. Today, due to the decline in commercial forests, the production of Engineered wood products, especially the OSB, has problems. One of the recent resources is agricultural waste and natural resources that increase each year and are a good source of Engineered Wood Products. Recycling plays an important role in protecting the environment and the health of humans and living things. Recycling of agricultural waste and natural resources have many benefits. However, there are disadvantages that in this article we have tried to compare the use of agricultural waste and environmental and forest wood as raw materials in the production of OSB boards. The results showed that OSB boards made of 50% pruning of city trees and 50% pruning of horticultural trees with phenol formaldehyde resin based on BS EN 300 degrees Limitability 4 in bending tests, module of alsititis, water absorption, thickness and internal adhesion to Has achieved. Therefore, agricultural waste and pruning waste can be a reliable and reliable alternative to forest wood. And to supply and replace some of the raw materials used and cheap in the Engineered Wood Products industry. Therefore, the purpose of this article was to review research on the use of agricultural waste and natural resources and forest wood in the construction of OSB boards in Iran and the international.
