Abstract:
Today, issues such as global warming due to the use of fossil fuels and the reduction of these resources have made people think of using alternative and clean energy sources. Renewable energies such as solar energy are among the sources that do not pollute the environment and are considered endless resources and are an excellent alternative to fossil fuels. Solar lenses have the task of concentrating sunlight, that can be directed towards the solar oven. Using a renewable energy source while providing cooking applications saves time, money, and on the other hand, it is safe and secure. The purpose of this research is to build and evaluate a solar oven using a point fresnel lens. The evaluations were done in 3 days in March 1401. The results showed that the solar oven is able to raise the temperature of milk to upto 80 degrees Celsius respectively in one hour. The maximum performance can be achieved by this system was 90%.
