Abstract: |
In this research, one of the alternative sources for clean energy production was investigated, and the results of energy production from the reed plant in Horul Azim wetland will be discussed, which showed that this plant can be a suitable source of clean energy. In this research, the Landsat 8 satellite image of the OLI sensor was used to identify the wetland vegetation. Finally, the vegetation cover index (NDVI) was used to determine the level and density of vegetation in the wetland And the surface of the wetland was divided into three different parts: water, vegetation, and land without vegetation (soil) so that the surface of the wetland surrounded by vegetation, which is generally in the form of reeds, is visible and separated from other effects and gives a suitable view according to the purpose of the study. After applying the remote sensing index and estimating values from the index and determining vegetation areas in order to identify and select field samples, points were identified and selected as field measurement points and reed harvesting from a part of the wetland. The amount of reed harvest in three densities (low density 3-5, medium density 5-7 and high density 7-9 meters) was that the amount of reed production in all three densities was 12.9, 16.4 and 21.7 kg per meter with a distance of one meter from the water surface. |
