Abstract:
In the conditions of drought and water shortage in Iran, the application of irrigation methods with appropriate productivity and high efficiency is a necessity for producers and managers of the agricultural sector. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of irrigation methods on the physical & mechanical properties of the pomegranate tree product. In order to be able to choose the most resistant variety of imported or local trees in the construction of the garden according to the available facilities. According to the time and cost of the research team, the data were collected from gardeners in field conditions with different positions and with the desired type of irrigation. Then, by conducting experiments on five-year-old pomegranate trees with four irrigation methods , it was analyzed. In this way, two treatments were considered for each cultivar, one control treatment with 100% irrigation and one treatment with 50% irrigation with two replications. In the continuation of the measurements on the characteristics The analysis was done with the purpose of predicting the neural network. In each cultivar, specific characteristics of pomegranate fruit were affected, but the stress of low irrigation was significant in all cultivars. The most effect was on fruit yield, fruit weight and leaf freshness. Also, there is a difference between pomegranate cultivars in response to irrigation methods and water stress. Therefore, due to the difference in the soil and climatic conditions, it is not possible to issue a definitive plan.
