Abstract: |
The crises related to energy shortage, the bad effects of fossil fuels, the issue of food security in terms of quantity and quality, and other challenges have caused a concept called agrivoltaic to be proposed. Agrivoltaic, which in general is the simultaneous production of energy and food in the land, has been developed with the aim of optimal and correct use of land. This approach has many advantages from the perspective of agriculture, energy, economy and even society. This method has a very good ability to be used in Iran. Geographical conditions, the amount of radiation, agricultural conditions, the issue of energy supply in all regions, and issues related to social effects such as migration, have made Iran susceptible to the implementation of the agrivoltaic system. Accordingly, in this article, we first introduced the correct concept of agrivoltaic systems and then talked about the importance of its development in Iran. |
