Abstract:
The role of water in the life of humans and other living beings is very important. Among the waters on the planet, drinking water is the most important, and converting salt water into drinking water is considered vital. One of the ways to convert salt water into drinking water is to use a solar desalination plant, which has different structures and functions and can separate pathogens, salts, heavy metals, etc. from salt water. Therefore, according to the stated importance and necessity, in the present research and in order to improve the structure of the solar desalination system, we added the mist sprayer to its structure and investigated and evaluated its effects. Experiments were conducted as a factorial in a completely randomized design and for data analysis, spss software was used and Duncan's multiple range test method was used to compare the average. The results showed that the desalination device equipped with a mist sprayer increases the temperature of the water inside the chamber compared to the normal type, and ultimately produces more water Also, the amount of water extracted from two desalination plants during the months of July, August and September showed a significant difference in performance between the two.
