Abstract:
In this research, the numerical analysis of the dynamic pressure of the wheat transfer pipe in the pneumatic larvicide system has been done. In order to transfer, a larva killing system consisting of a horizontal tube and elbow was used. The study was carried out in two phases, experimental and numerical simulation, in order to take experimental data, 5 points of the transmission pipe were determined, and at these points, experimental data were extracted for validation and also for use as boundary conditions. The geometry of the transmission pipe was drawn in Gambit pre-processing software, and after meshing and applying boundary conditions, it was transferred to ANSYS Fluent software for the purpose of analysis. In ANSYS Fluent software, after calling the quality and volume test, the solver and problem model were selected for solving. The Reynolds stress disturbance model (RSM) was used to model the disturbances in the flow. Also, the discrete phase model (DPM) was used for the solid phase model. In the results section, the results of the dynamic pressure contour at 4 levels of mass flow rate were reported. The maximum value of dynamic pressure at a mass flow rate of 0.075 kg/s was obtained as 657.3 pascal. Finally, according to the results of computational fluid dynamics, it has a high ability to check dynamic pressure in agricultural products transfer systems.
