Abstract:
Since there is always heterogeneity in different points of the field, in order to get the most benefit, it is necessary to diagnose the different points of the land and take steps to correct it according to the different conditions of the field. Identifying the fertile areas of the field by the farmer in order to make management decisions depends on the soil tests and the individual's experience and because soil science tests in the laboratory are a time-consuming and costly process, the emergence of grain flow intensity sensors to the tank of the combine with GPS allows the farmer to measure the yield of the product based on the location and to register. In this research, using an Arduino microcontroller, the performance of a product detector sensor that was designed in an innovative way, with the aim of recording the location and determining the weight of the harvested grain in field conditions, by installing it in the grain storage tank of the harvester, has been investigated. To evaluate the sensor, firstly, the harvested crop, whose moisture level had decreased and was located in 4 rows in the field, was harvested with three forward speeds of 4, 6, and 8 km/h. And it was found that the designed sensor microcontroller measured the amount of 384 kg of grain input to the combine tank in the field with an area of 900 square meters and recorded the location of 192 points in the land.
