Abstract:
In this study, the clustering process of sales agents was done based on the items of the supply chain operation reference model. In general, the agents were divided into four clusters, most of them were placed in cluster 1 and 2. The first cluster is related to the stores that have a better situation in terms of supply chain operation reference model indicators than the second cluster. In order to compare the efficiency of the units, the data envelopment analysis method was also used. Comparison of data by measuring technical efficiency (constant return to scale model) and pure technical efficiency (variable return to scale model) showed very different results. The results of technical efficiency measurement showed that more stores are on the efficiency border and their efficiency value is one. Of these, only the net technical efficiency of a store was one, indicating that it is at the most efficient scale. Other efficient stores in the variable returns to scale model were locally efficient and had increasing returns to scale, which means that there is potential for scaling up in them. Examining the relationship between the clustering of units based on all the items of the supply chain operation reference model using the hierarchical compression method with the technical efficiency of the units (with the return to constant scale model) showed that these two indicators are related to each other with a confidence level of 99%. This means that clustering can greatly differentiate the efficiency of studied agents.
