Abstract:
Reducing fossil reserves, environmental pollution, global warming, toxic emissions, recyclable waste management, etc. are important reasons for using renewable energy sources. In our country, solar, wind and biomass energies are abundantly accessible and available to produce electricity. In this research, the amount of energy that can be generated from photovoltaic panels, large wind turbines and cow dung for the electricity production of Mashhad County for the next decade, was investigated. The results showed that the photovoltaic panel had a greater contribution to electricity production than the wind turbine and CHP from cow dung. The total amount of the desired energy resources was calculated as 0.309, 0.264 and 0.229 percent for the years 1404, 1409 and 1414, respectively.
