Connection between different technologies in precession agriculture

Abstract:
Precision agriculture is a management strategy in modern agriculture to respond to the growing human need for food and environmental protection. This concept means using/consuming agricultural inputs in the correct place, with accurate amount, and on time manner in order to increase productivity and reduce environmental effects. The purpose of precision agriculture is to use different technologies to move towards sustainable production in agriculture. Therefore, precision agriculture requires the use of various technologies such as informatics, internet of things, automation, and smart agriculture. Smart agriculture is the latest technology in this field to make smart the execution of various operations via collecting data related to various operations and make appropriate decisions for their proper management based on the results of the data analysis. Considering the importance of agriculture in the sustainability of food supply and environmental protection, various types of technologies in precision agriculture and the connections between them have been described in the present paper.
